    Scientific activities:

The research focus of my laboratory is to apply genomics approaches to understand the molecular mechanisms of chemical-induced carcinogenesis. Specifically, we are interested in nuclear receptor-mediated pathways, DNA damage and repair, and the role of diet in cancer. Through a combination of in vivo animal studies and experiments that utilize cellular and molecular models we aim to better understand why certain chemicals cause cancer in rodents and whether humans are at risk from similar exposures.
