As sources of knowledge and innovation, research and teaching are at the core of what researchers and researching professors do at Paris Descartes University. The university readily accepts any funding opportunities aimed at supporting its research efforts, opening up its courses to an international market, and promoting its strengths.
To help the researchers and researching professors who belong to the institutions managed by Paris Descartes University receive grants through calls for projects, DRIVE has created a department dedicated to project engineering that gives the community access to its experience with national, European, and international projects.
Its initiatives are funded by:
- the French government through the Single Interministerial Fund
- the French National Research Agency
- the Ile-de-France region and other public interest groups
- European programs (H2020, Erasmus +, etc.)
- As well as a wide range of associations and foundations
Students, doctoral candidates, researchers, and researching professors who belong to the institutions managed by Paris Descartes University can obtain financial aid through their research efforts. DRIVE’s Project Engineering Department can help you complete the most strategic phases of your project, including surveillance, set-up, negotiations, and funding.
It monitors national calls for projects on behalf of all project creators on the lookout for funding.
Horizon 2020 is a European program that funds research and innovation. It has a seven-year budget (2014-2020) of 79 billion euros and backs multidisciplinary projects that have the potential to address major social and economic challenges. H2020 covers the entire innovation chain, from the start of an idea to bringing a solution to market, and helps commercialize research results.
DRIVE’s European project managers help researchers and researching professors with the various phases of obtaining and implementing European funding so they can complete their research. They are in charge of monitoring and collecting information about calls for projects, helping to setup projects, completing negotiations, and managing the project in partnership with the Financial Affairs Department.Read the EU Project H2020 Handbook
DRIVE can help fund your scientific events.
